Happy Birthday Mitchell!

It's my brothers birthday today!!!!!! He turns 18. Where did the last 18 years go!!! We are off to dinner tonight to celebrate!!

This weekend has been a good one! Brett and I had a date night on Friday and went to Longhorns. It's one of our favorite places! Saturday was spent working, grocery shopping, and hanging out with the family. Mitchell got a ping pong table for his birthday. So much fun. Can't wait till I get to kick Brett's butt. Last night was just a warm up. Today is the real thing!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Look forward to pictures tomorrow. I still need to find my cable cord for my camera. Until then I will go over to my parents and load them up there.

Weekend Recap!

I know that I'm a couple days late on this post!!! This past weekend was a very quite weekend! Friday night was Mitchell's Senior Night for his swim team! Here is a picture of him getting ready to dive! I can never watch him dive, I'm afraid that he is going to hit his head!!!



Here is Mitchell with his buddies getting ready for the Senior Ceremony. The Juniors all read something about each Senior. My cousin Phil wrote Mitchell's and it was really good!!!

After the swim meet both Brett and I were starving since it was almost 8, so we went to Applebee's! Saturday was pretty uneventful. Brett had class all day and then we went Grocery shopping and had dinner at home. I made a meat pie but instead of using pie crust I put biscuits on top of it. It was good but it needs to be perfected!!! I should have used more meat and maybe added some veggies to it instead of having it on the side!! Oh well I'm learning.

On Sunday Brett had his EMT Practical. He was very nervous about it leading up to that day, but he didn't have anything to worry about because he passed!!!! Now he just has to take the written part and he will be all done with EMT class and he will be certified!!!!! I'm so proud of him and can't thank him enough for everything he has done for us!

After his practical we went with my family to my Godfathers house for a late Christmas celebration. Its always fun going over there to see the kidlets!!!

Overall it was a good weekend! Looking forward to this weekend. Baby Mitchell turns 18!!!

Its a Bright Sunshiny Day!

I have just a few minutes before I head to work. I'm dreading my commute. I think that it is about a minute long but if you catch the red light it adds on a minute!! I love that I don't have far to go and that I can come home for lunch. Can't complain about work!

This week has been pretty uneventful! Looking forward to the weekend where we don't have any plans! Brett goes for his EMT Practical on Sunday. Wish him good luck!!!!!!!

Ok off to work! I will recap later tonight on our past weekend! We had a really good one!

Heat Wave!

I think that we are going through a heat wave this weekend. It is 40 degrees! Just as I was getting use to the weather and it been in the teens or lower it gets warmer! At moments like this I miss the Georgia weather! It took me a year to get use to the Georgia weather, I think that it is going to take me a year to get use to the New England weather and maybe two years for Brett!

I'm looking forward to this weekend. First all it is a long weekend! Oh I missed celebrating the federal holidays! Last night I helped out at my family's swim dance, but left an hour into it. I can't handle all the loud music anymore, I guess that I'm getting old! Today Brett has class and then we are heading up to North to visit Kristy! I'm looking forward to it! Haven't seen her new house yet!

Tomorrow is going to be a relaxing day! Church, Mekay's for breakfast, and then grocery shopping. Brett is working just till 4 and then we will just chill! Monday we both have off so I think that we will take a ride to somewhere, maybe Newport. We will see where the day takes us. It is suppose to be a bad day weather wise. So we will see!

As I'm sitting here I'm noticing how dirty my house is! So I need to go clean for a bit and then its off for a walk with my mom and maggie!

Happy Belated New Years

Can you believe that it is 2010. Well I know that I'm a couple of days late, but it has been a very relaxing weekend! New Years Eve was spent with family and falling asleep around 11. We are such a crazy and wild couple! Brett had to work the next day at 8 am so he was going to go to bed early, but I just thought I would lay down for a few minutes and then watch the ball drop, but the next thing I knew it was 12:41 am. Oh well, I have never been a big fan of New Years Eve. Overall it was a good weekend!

I'm looking forward to seeing what 2010 will bring us! 2009 was a very hard year that I would never thought we would get through, but we did. I have a huge list of New Years Resolutions. Maybe I will post them or maybe I won't. You all might think I'm a huge dork!

Well my main one is working on Connor's scrapbook putting together all of the cards everyone gave to us. My parents gave us a wooden box that was my grandmothers so that we could put things in which I have done! So I will let you know how the scrapbook goes. Started it in May, but I don't think I was ready for it!

Ok time to go relax with the hubby. I will leave you with some pictures of our balloon release for Connor on Christmas day!
