Mollie's Turns 9

How is Mollie 9? She is the sweetest girl, who has the biggest heart. This year she has surprised me with stepping outside of her comfort zone and doing things that are pushing her to be the best Mollie! She loves to dancing and loves anything unicorn related. You should see her room, but that is for another post! She started soccer and loved it and will be doing spring travel team! She will be playing basketball during the winter!

We had such a great time celebrating Mollie. We had a family party on her birthday and then the following weekend we had her friends party. She has such a great group of friends! This year Mollie wanted a Unicorn themed party. So we went with it because who knows how many more years she will want a theme for her birthday! We started off with painting unicorns. I got the unicorns from Oriental Trade. They were so cute and the kids had fun painting them. After painting the unicorns we decorated sugar cookies in the shape of unicorns and rainbows. I had a lot of fun with this theme. We ended the party with an Unicorn PiƱata which of course is always the hit of the party.  It was such a fun afternoon! I think Mollie is already brainstorming for next year! She says we have to go big next year for double digits!
