October!

I can't believe that tomorrow is October 1. Where does the time go?? I can't believe that in 9 days Mollie will be one...Where does the time go?? Mollie has her first cold and it isn't fun. Its a cold/cough that keeps her up sometimes during the night, which means little sleep for mommy and daddy! I think you would never know though because she is always happy! Went to the doctors yesterday to get her checked out, just didn't want to take any chances with the cough, but there isn't anything that we can do, it just has to run its course. Oh well, at least she didn't get any shots, saving that for the her 1 year check up! She did get weighed and was 21.15 pounds. She is a cutie pootie!

This weekend is a quite weekend. Working on my to do list and getting ready for Mollie's birthday next weekend is on the agenda and hoping that Mollie's cold gets better is a must.

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

I can't believe that Labor Day weekend is here! As I said in my last post I feel like this summer just flew by. I can't believe it. I'm hoping that it stays nice out today so that we can get to the beach after work and after we do a few things around the house! Tonight we are headed to dinner at my parents. Looking forward to some yummy food.

I also can't believe that Mollie will be 11 months next week and that next month we will be celebrating her birthday! Mollie is crawling all over the place and getting into lots of trouble! I'm loving this stage!

Where Has The Summer Gone?

I can't believe that August is almost over! Our town feels so quite now that the summer people have left and everyone is getting ready to go back to school next week. I'm actually really looking forward to September and October! My two favorite months. I love everything that comes with the Fall Season and of course it is Mollie's birthday in October. Is it bad that I already have started planning for her party?

Life has been super crazy in our household and I'm behind on a few posts that I wanted to get up! Brett and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary last week and it has been 2 years since we up and left Georgia and moved up to Massachusetts! It's amazing how quickly time flies on by!

Off to start making my list of things to do for this Hurricane we might be getting this weekend! I think that it is time to buy the duct tape for the windows!

Weekend Recap!

This weekend was a very hot one! I was happy to wake up this morning and have a little relief of a cool breeze! We pretty much stayed inside as much as we could. We had a quite weekend. Brett worked all weekend, so it was Mollie and I! I can't believe it but I didn't take any pictures. I'll have to check my phone to see if there was any there. It's getting harder to take pictures of Mollie as she is becoming a little monkey!

Lets see what did we do this past weekend? Friday night we went up to my Uncle/Aunts house for a night swim. I think that they were very happy to see us and especially see Mollie. Mollie was very generous with her kisses and was giving them to everyone!

I had to work Saturday morning while Brett was with Mollie and once I came home it was almost time for Brett to get ready for work. We went and visited with Auntie Carly for a bit. I had to lower Mollie's crib. I can't believe that my little girl is getting so big! Time flies! Saturday night we went to over to my uncle's for dinner and it was very yummy!

Sunday was spent just like every other Sunday! Grocery Shopping and visiting with Mekay! For dinner we went with my parents to Turks for a yummy dinner!

I love doing these recaps. I wish that I did them more often so I can look back and remember what we did even if it is boring for everyone to read!

4th of July

I'm a little late on this post but it has been a little crazy here! I feel like 4th of July was just last weekend but it really wasn't! We had a great weekend. My Uncle Johnny and Cousin Jasmine were here visiting. It was fun to spend time with them. Jasmine is growing up so quickly! We spent lots of time at the beach and just hanging out with family.

4th of July Weekend

This weekend is one of my favorite weekends! I love the 4th of July. I'm bummed that Brett is working all weekend but we will make the best of the time we have with him! We have family coming into town tomorrow. I have to work tomorrow morning but it won't be long and then hopefully it is to the beach we go! I'm making a few desserts for the weekend so I need to get started on that tonight, but it will have to be after Mollie and I go to my dad's concert.

Sunday!

Sunday was my last day of vacation and I wasn't looking forward to going back to work on Monday! Oh well its our life right now! We spent the day around the house. Went to the grocery store in the morning and then to the beach in the afternoon.

Mollie is loving her new bike seat. I have a few pictures that I need to post tonight. She is so darn cute in it.

I guess looking back on Sunday I don't have much to write about it! It was just a nice way to end my vacation. I'm already looking forward to my vacation in July!

Saturday!

I kept thinking all day that Saturday was Sunday! So it was nice when I did realize that I had two more days left of my vacation. We spent the day being busy once again. We went and visited with my grandmother. She always love seeing Mollie and Mollie loves her! After Mekays we went to Walmart to get a bike seat (thanks mom and dad) for Mollie. Brett installed it and Mollie loves it! I will post pictures as soon as I load them on to my computer. We went for 2 bike rides. The first one Mollie passed out! The second time she loved it and was awake to the very end!

It was my turn to get up with Mollie and she did really well through the night. I know that there is a reason why she is getting up and I will keep getting up with her!

One more day left of my vacation! I go to work for two weeks and then I'm on vacation again! I'm already counting down!

Friday!

Friday was yet another busy day! Brett was finally home with us and we were so happy to have him home! As soon as he got home at 8am we were off for breakfast! We were also scheduled to have my uncle's Thule that we borrowed while we went to Florida taken off! Thank goodness that it is finally off!

After that we went for a ride with my Mom to Bristol, RI. What a cute little town. My cousin Phil is going to Roger Williams University in the fall and I'm looking forward to going to visit him. We walked in and out of all the little shops and we had lunch at a little dinner that was really good! It was a great day. Afterwards we were in for the night and it was nice to just relax!

We loved having Brett home with us!

Thursday!

Thursday was a day of running errands! We were all over the place. Mollie is always so good when she is on the go! Brett was working all day so it was just Mollie and I. We headed up to meet with my friend Andrea who I haven't seen in a long time. I love that we can go forever not seeing each other and when we do it is like we were never apart! We had a great dinner at California Pizza and then walked around the mall. It was a great night and I can't wait to do it again! Hopefully we don't go as long as we did this time.

It was a busy day and Mollie and I were exhausted when we got home! It was right to bed for both of us! I was hoping that Mollie would sleep through the night but that didn't happen, but its ok!

Wednesday!

Wednesday was a very fun day! My Dad took Mollie and I to a Red Soxs game! We had a blast even though it was raining and there was a few delays, but luckily we were under the grandstand! After the third rain delay we decided it was time to leave. Mollie did great and she got a pink hat!

Tuesday's Pictures!

Tuesday!

Today was another great day with Mollie! I told Brett tonight at dinner that I could really get use to being at home all the time with Mollie!

We spent the day being very busy bees! We did sleep till 830, but actually was awaken by Brett putting on his vest for work. Mollie wasn't a happy camper, but she went back to bed! After a yummy breakfast of apples and oatmeal we went and did our rounds of visiting people!

First stop was at Nonni's work. Mollie was a big hit there and she was showing off all of her new tricks. She is kind of clapping and she gets so excited when she does it! Also she is now giving zurberts or I guess raspberries, whatever you want to call them! Don't get her started with saying Hi. I know it really isn't hi but its close to it and she will go on forever saying it and will make sure she gets everyone's attention by saying hi to them.

After Nonni's, we were off to bring Brett some drinks. He was working a detail outside. Making the money! It was a quick visit since he could not talk long but was good to see him.

We were back at home to play for a while and have a short nap and when I mean short nap it was only 30 minutes. That's my catnapper!!

We also went to the library and the post office. Played in Mollie's new pool! As I said it was a busy busy day! We ended the day with a great dinner! Now it's time to go and relax with Brett.

Monday!

Today was a good day. It was just me and Mollie. We had a busy day! We went grocery shopping, to the beach, for a walk, cleaned out my car and went for another walk. Tonight was night one of sleep boot camp in our household. I think that Mollie only cried for 15 minutes tonight. Now the key is how long will she sleep and having to stand my ground that she will not come into our bed. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow!

I'm off to bed. Very tired! I'm looking forward to doing it all over tomorrow! Have a gnight!

Our Weekend Recap!

Our weekend was a busy one!!! Friday was a chill night at home with a nice dinner of french toast casserole!! I love having breakfast for dinner. It's the best. Saturday was a busy one running errands and then it was off to celebrate my godfather's graduation from mass maritime. He was doing his masters there!

Sunday was of course Father's day! Happy Father's Day to my husband who is a great husband and father! Also Happy Fathers day to my dad!!!! We love you both so much! The morning started off with Mollie and I making breakfast for Brett. Yummy pancakes and bacon!! It was also my Grandmother's birthday too! Mekay was turning 89. We had cupcakes and opened presents! It was a beautiful morning. Afterwards we spent time at the beach. Mollie loves it there! Brett went kayaking with my dad! The day ended with a water fight and a great dinner! It was a very good weekend and I hope everyone enjoyed theirs!

Memorial Day 2011

Memorial Day was a very relaxing day! We didn't do too much which was nice for a chance! We had a cook out at my parents and watched the parade go by. I think that we were in bed very early that night. It was pretty busy weekend with my Mom's party and having in town guest!
